I love the fabric, the patterns, the colors, the skirt, the jacket, and ESPECIALLY the shoes... but I swear to God I had this same outfit for my Barbie in 1988.
I rest my case.

The 80's and 90's Collide
Fashion week is upon us yet again, and judging by some preliminary off-site shows from Jenni Kayne and Jillian Lewis, I'm afraid that midriff-baring tops and monochromatic outfits might be coming back. Say it's not so!

Sale-ing Takes Me Away...
Since Labor Day sales are starting, let's continue the theme, shall we?
One lesser-known sample sale site that I love (and have previously mentioned) is Bad Joan, where you can get all kinds of goodies from lesser-known designers. Which means you can get a totally unique outfit for a fraction of the retail price and still maintain your indie street cred.
Right now she has a great selection of T-shirts from Le Magnifique for $25 each. C'est chic!

Vivre Sale
Another fab sale going on today is the Vivre Pre-fall Sale. It's actually shocking that the luxury retailer has deep discounts on so many awesome new styles. But it ends tonight at midnight!
Personal fave: the Michael Kors Pea Jacket w/ Brass Buttons: Originally almost $2,000--now $498.75!

Sale Away with CK
Calvin Klein is having its Final Sale, where items are $30 and under. Personally, I'm excited for this Oval Ombre Cap Sleeve Dress and the Funnel Neck Trench Coat. Quantities are limited, so hurry!
